Location

The OFTRI is situated amidst the Aravali mountains at Matsyagram, village Veerpura near lake Jaisamand which is the 2nd largest manmade lake in Asia. It is at a distance of 52 km from Udaipur on Udaipur-Banswara-Indore road. The city of Udaipur is a national and international tourist destination in the state of Rajasthan and popularly known as “City of Lakes”. It is well connected from Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkatta, Bangluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Indore either by air, rail or bus. Reegular bus service is available from Udaipur RSTC bus stand (Udiyapole) for Jaisamand. Matsyagram is about 2.5 Km from Jaisamand bus stand at Veerpura-Kantoda road.
